FOR THE HOLIDAYS ~ NOT FOR SOME
~
Spa supports local Children's
hospital this Holiday season
~
Cleveland, Ohio - December 3, 2009 -
Although most kids will be home for
the holidays creating memories with
their family and friends, many will
not be able to enjoy the comfort and
warmth of their familiar
surroundings. Instead they will be
spending their holidays at Rainbow
Babies & Children's Hospital.
"Rainbow Babies & Children's
Hospital had nearly 80 children who
spent Christmas Day in the hospital
in 2008. Many of the families of
these patients found it challenging
to shop for and wrap gifts for these
children", says Marge Galla,
Coordinator for Volunteer Services
for Rainbow Babies & Children's
Hospital. To facilitate gift giving
and provide a little relief from the
stress of holiday hospitalization,
Rainbow Babies & Children's Hospital
is organizing a North Pole event,
Wednesday, Dec. 23, 2009.
Volunteers will be on hand to
register families, assist in gift
selection, and for gift wrapping.
This year again, John Robert's Spa
offers the public the opportunity to
spread the joy to those less
fortunate this holiday season in
supporting this local and worthy
cause by choosing a tag from the
sharing tree in one of the three
John Robert's locations, and
purchase a gift for that child.
John Robert's Spa team hope that
many generous donors will join them
to ensure that every child at
Rainbow Babies & Children's Hospital
receives a gift over the holidays.
Every year John DiJulius, President
and Owner of John Robert's Spa, and
his sons deliver the gifts to the
patients of Rainbow Babies and
Children's Hospital. The joy is
overwhelming as many parents cannot
provide holiday gifts for their
child.
Rainbow Babies & Children's Hospital
requests that toys and gifts are
new, unwrapped and for children ages
newborn through 18. All gifts must
be donated at any John Robert's Spa
location by December, 15th.
John Robert's Spa has been involved
in the community since its inception
in 1993. The salon's mission is
"to
enhance the quality of lives around
us". They have been selected as the
Pillar Award winner twice for their
contributions of time, money and
services. They visit Rainbow Babies
and Children Hospital on a monthly
basis to touch the children
hospitalized there in a positive way
- braiding their hair, polishing
nails and more. John Robert's team
members support a culture of giving.
With four locations in Northeast
Ohio - Mayfield Heights, Solon,
Chagrin Falls, and a
corporate office in Highland
Heights, John Robert's Spa has been
recognized as one of the Top 20

times by both Salon Today and
