JOHN ROBERT'S SPA CELEBRATES THE OPENING OF THEIR
NEW SALON/SPA CONCEPT IN BEACHWOOD BY GIVING BACK TO
THE COMMUNITY
Spa enhances the quality of lives in their community
Beachwood, Ohio August 1, 2006 - John Robert's
Spa, a Cleveland-based company, recognized as one of
the top 20 salons in America, is planning a
charitable grand celebration at the opening of
their sixth location on August 1, 2006. Each day
of the grand opening week will honor a different
charity and the day's service totals will be donated
to them. The new location, a protégé salon, is a
new concept in the industry which gives clients the
opportunity to receive services, from John Robert's
newest service providers who have recently completed
an advanced training program, at a great value. (see
additional included release)
Tuesday, August 1 through Saturday, August 5th all
money received from services at the new Beachwood
location (27810 Chagrin Boulevard) will be donated
to charity. (schedule of charities benefiting and
fact sheets on following pages) This opening
celebration will give the public an opportunity to
receive an incredible service while supporting some
very worthy and LOCAL causes! Each of the charities
are being included with the planning of their day.
"We are planning a special way to incorporate each
charity's work on their day. We will be displaying
Flashes of Hope's photos in the salon on their day
and will have one of their photographers on hand for
part of the day as well. On August 3rd we are
actually bringing the Project Daymaker RV into town
and will be volunteering services for New Life
Community." says Marketing Director, Denise
Thompson. "Our goal is to honor these organizations
while raising funds through our work."
John Robert's Spa has been very involved in the
community since its inception in 1993. The salon's
mission is "to enhance the quality of lives around
us". They have been selected as the Pillar Award
winner twice for their contributions of time, money
and services. They visit Rainbow Babies &
Children Hospital on a monthly basis to touch the
children hospitalized there in a positive
way-braiding their hair, polishing nails and more.
They also participate regularly with Flashes of
Hope, Project Daymaker, cut-a-thons and numerous
fashion shows around the city by volunteering their
makeup and hairstyling skills. John Robert's team
members support a culture of giving. Event
coordinator, Megan Swatt, describes her team as
"...always willing to devote their attention to a
good cause. " Stylist Monica Colagiavanni says "I
believe God gave me this talent to help others, I'm
happy to share my skills to make people look and
feel better."
The salon is looking forward to the community's
support in making their grand opening week a success
for all of the charitable organizations being
represented. Those interested in participating in
the opening week celebration can schedule
